Parva, en mis aldeas y muy principalmente en el mes de la hierba, se tomaba la parva, al amanecer, o muchas veces antes del amanecer, pues dependía de lo que se madrugase, bien para ir a segar, o para ir a carretar la hierba con los ramos corzáus, corcexas, etc., con el fin de llegar con la hierba a los pajares antes de que el sol apretase de firme, que molestase a las vacas y que las hiciese moscar, como algunas veces tiene sucedido, lleldándose por tal motivo algunas serias o superficiales desgracias. La parva consistía en unas copaxas (pequeñas copas) de marrasquinu (anís) acompañadas de algo de comer como queso, dulce, jamón, etc., para después sobre las ocho de la mañana cuando ya se llevaban dos o tres horas de trabajo, hacer el desayuno o almuerzu.Primer Diccionario Enciclopédicu de la Llingua Asturiana > parva
